Page 1 of 5 BPAG MISSION To represent the interests of the inhabitants of the Botley Parish in opposing the proposed SDA N/NE Hedge End CONSTITUTION OF THE BOTLEY PARISH ACTION GROUP 1. NAME
The name of the Group shall be the Botley Parish Action Group. 2. OBJECTIVES The objects of the Group shall be to represent the interests of the inhabitants of the Botley Parish in opposing the proposed SDA N/NE of Hedge End, and addressing issues relating to the proposal. It will be open to all residents irrespective of their age, race, social status, political or religious opinions. The Group shall be non-party in politics and non-sectarian in religion. The Group shall have the right to confer and liaise with such agencies, organisations, Government departments or local authorities as will be required to further its objects. The Group will also have the right to liaise and form partnerships with groups and residents in Durley, Hedge End and Curdridge whose aims and interests are similar, with the objective of furthering the aims of the Group. 3. MEMBERSHIP Membership of the Group will be open, irrespective of political party, nationality and religious opinion, gender or sexual preference to: a) All persons 18 yrs old and over living in the Botley area. These people shall be known as ‘full members’. Persons under the age of 18 may be admitted into junior membership as and when and subject to such conditions as the Committee may decide. b) Well-wishers anywhere who support the aims of the Group shall be called associate members.
